The Listening Centre

At the Listening Centre, we help people of all ages develop and improve learning, language and communication skills through a listening training program of sound stimulation, voice training and counselling.

The Special Needs Planning Group

An organization that is made up primarily of people who have direct links to the disabled community through family relationships and experiences. We use a team approach to planning using Planners, Lawyers and Accountants, all of whom specialize in planning for people with disabilities.

Total Communication Environment (TCE)

A non-profit charitable organization providing residential, day services and outreach to long term care homes for adults with multiple disabilities and special communication needs. We provide support to over ninety (90) people in many different residential settings including group homes, apartments and townhouses, and outreach at a number of long term care homes in the Ottawa area.

Trait d’Union Outaouais Inc. (Gatineau)

A non-profit organization that provides adults who have an intellectual disability with vocational training, life skills training, life enrichment, and support services.

Turning Tides

Support students of all ages and abilities with tutoring and social skills programs. Parents can learn more about learning disabilities and parenting strategies through their community workshops and conferences. Educators, psychologists and other professionals can also share in their knowledge through professional development workshops and customized training opportunities.

Vancouver Asperger Autism Union

A place where those with Asperger Syndrome (AS) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can form social and support networks by connecting on line and meeting up on a regular basis.

Vancouver Parents Transition Group

An education and support group for parents of youth with disabilities who are transitioning to adulthood. The group meets once per month and features guest speakers who provide information and support to families.
