TeamMason2021 Foundation

Currently the lack of housing throughout Alberta has created a significant crisis that is impacting the most vulnerable members of our communities. TeamMason2021 Foundation has been established to meet this growing need.

The Ability Hub

Based in Calgary, Alberta, The Ability Hub is focused on improving the quality of life and level of independence for adolescents and adults with a diagnosis of ASD. Through their new 17,000-square-foot, world-class facility, they have much to offer in the way of resources and support.

The Alberta Association for Supported Employment (AASE)

The primary goal of AASE is to create a formal network of service agencies which promotes the sharing of information and opportunities in the field of supported employment. We are an inclusive organization that supports the development and evolution of supported employment initiatives.

The Alberta Association of Rehabilitation Centres (AARC)

AARC’s mandate is to provide support to rehabilitation service providers of community-based services for people with disabilities. The goal is to ensure quality service delivery for clients. In fulfilling this mandate, AARC does not limit its support exclusively to its members. The association’s education, accreditation and advocacy efforts also have a positive effect on organizations outside the umbrella.

The Edmonton Down Syndrome Society

The mission of the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society is to benefit persons with Down syndrome and their families by providing information and support, facilitating services, and promoting inclusion through public awareness and advocacy, in collaboration with community partners.

The Excel Society

A not for profit organization that provides both support and advocacy for people with mental, physical and developmental disabilities in Edmonton and Calgary. Some 400 staff members assist our clients to be active, contributing members of their community.

The Road Ahead Society

The Road Ahead Society Of Calgary is a family organization committed to supporting persons with disabilities as they develop meaningful relationships in the community, build positive lives, and create their vision for a sustainable future.

Transitions

Transitions believes in supporting individuals with developmental delays and disabilities to achieve a full life and our services are organized to deliver on those beliefs. As an infant or child, Transitions focuses equal attention on parent and family support to promote a nurturing environment that is rich in learning opportunity. As an adult, the focus becomes independent living and relationship building. Always, these services are offered with concern for health and safety.

Varsity Education, University of Calgary

Provides an inclusive educational alternative to young adults with moderate to severe developmental disabilities by encouraging and supporting them to participate in a post-secondary experience. Also provides continuing support to the graduates of the post-secondary education program in a workplace environment (Graduate Support Services).

VECOVA

A leading-edge, registered not-for-profit charitable research and service agency that has been meeting the needs of persons with disabilities and the community-at-large since 1969. Affiliated with the University of Calgary, the VRRI is recognized as a leader in the field of disability services and research.
