Pivot Point

Specializes in intensive therapeutic interventions for children with “extra needs” ranging from mild behavioural and emotional challenges to moderate or severe childhood disorders such as Learning Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, and other challenges that limit success at home or school. Also has full-service autism programs for children ages 2 to 19, as well as “Service Packages”, or any individual service in any amount required.

posAbilities has striven to create a well-managed organization that has many programs providing up to 700 client services each year. posAbilities creates opportunities for independence and growth for individuals with developmental, physical and mental health challenges.

Special Education Technology BC (SET-BC)

SET-BC is a Ministry of Education Provincial Resource Program. We assist school districts in British Columbia in meeting the technology needs of students with physical disabilities, visual impairments, and autism.

The Asante Centre

The Asante Centre is located in the downtown core of Maple Ridge, BC. Governed by the Greater Vancouver Fetal Alcohol Society, we offer diagnostic, assessment and family support services, based on a multidisciplinary team approach, for children, youth and adults affected by FASD.

Vancouver Parents Transition Group

An education and support group for parents of youth with disabilities who are transitioning to adulthood. The group meets once per month and features guest speakers who provide information and support to families.

Vela Microboard Association dedicates itself to honouring the rights of, and eliminating the barriers for, people with disabilities.
