Connecting Pieces (Ottawa)

An Ottawa region consultation service that was created especially for the parents of children with autism. Its first goal is to empower these parents to take control of their child’s progress while making changes to the family’s natural environment.

Dori Zener and Associates

We are a group of mental health clinicians and neurodivergent peers who are united by a passion to help autistic individuals and their loved ones thrive. The practice emerged from a need for respectful, client-focused psychotherapy and skill development for autistic children, teens, adults and their families.

Peel Children’s Centre

A fully accredited, community-based children’s mental health centre. Located centrally within the Region of Peel, the Centre offers a comprehensive continuum of high quality, innovative services to more than 4,000 children, youth and their families each year.

Pyramid Educational Consultants

Pyramid’s goal to help individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and/or communication challenges learn to shape their own lives and participate in the world around them. Using a blend of broad spectrum applied behaviour analysis and practices supported by research and positive results, they give learners the skills to tell you what they want, what they need, what they see, and the unique educational environments they need to learn and grow towards greater independence.

SNOW Inclusive Learning and Education

SNOW is a branch of the Inclusive Design Research Centre at OCAD University that focuses on Inclusive Education and Learning. Our goal is to provide information and training about technologies and inclusive practices both in and outside the classroom. SNOW is for educators, parents, guardians and students and our resources are free whenever possible. SNOW is committed to providing open source tools that can be adapted and used freely.
