Beyond the Door – Toronto

Committed to helping children living with neuro-developmental disorders, such as Pervasive Developmental Disorder including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developing the necessary behavioural, communication, intellectual, physical, and social skills for successful integration at home, at school and in the community through individualized Intensive Behaviour Intervention/Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programs based on the principles of Verbal Behaviour.

Blue Balloon Occupational Therapy

In the area of pediatrics, we focus on a child’s ability to play, perform self-care activities, complete academic and school activities and interact with their friends. Children’s Centre – Thunder Bay

A children’s mental health centre. We provide mental health services and support services to troubled children, adolescents and their families. We are a United Way agency.

Citizen Advocacy

Uses a unique future planning process(developed by PLAN,our Parent organization) for people with disabilities. It is a seven step process that families can follow to create a safe and secure future for their loved one. Each future plan is tailor- made to meet your family’s needs. It begins with your wishes and dreams for the future and addresses any issues and concerns you may have.

Collage Therapies

A muti-disciplinary therapy centre that has a team of speech-language pathologists, psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and play therapists. Provides back-to-back therapy appointments with different clinicians in the same centre. Also provides parents and teachers with the resources to help the child integrate their newly learned skills in the home and in school.

A non-profit organization which provides a range of employment, residential, and support services to adult persons with intellectual disabilities in the region of East Prince, Prince Edward Island.

The goal of this organization is that all persons live in a state of dignity, share in all elements of living in the community, and have the opportunity to participate effectively.

Connecting Pieces (Ottawa)

An Ottawa region consultation service that was created especially for the parents of children with autism. Its first goal is to empower these parents to take control of their child’s progress while making changes to the family’s natural environment.
