Neurodiverse psychologist Iain Dolan specializes in assessing adults. This service is only available for adults who are in Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, or the Yukon.

Place of Mind – Wisconsin

Place of Mind specializes in inclusive assessment and supportive psychological services with neurodivergent individuals who are often labeled with Autism, ADHD, or learning and intellectual differences. Place of Mind does not view differences as disorders and starts from a strength-based health and wellness perspective that embraces differences as unique and necessary.

By shifting the focus from fixing and curing to respecting and celebrating each individual, Place of Mind joins with individuals, families, and support teams and offers community-based psychological evaluations, person-centered support planning, connecting, advocating, and personal discovery and empowerment through inclusive relational support across the lifespan.

Research Autism

The only UK charity exclusively dedicated to research into interventions in autism. We carry out high quality, independent research into new and existing health, education, social and other interventions. Our goal is the improvement of quality of life and outlook for the individuals affected and those around them.

Tetra Society of North America

Tetra recruits volunteers who work with clients to design and build assistive devices that are custom-made for the individual – these are devices that are either not available commercially or cost-prohibitive. As a non-profit organization, Tetra raises funds to deliver this program, including covering the costs of volunteer travel and materials for devices up to $500 per project.

The Vogl Autism Method

Andrew Vogl’s program strives to be different and provides a play-based pathway to communication skills for younger children and a methodology based on self-awareness for adolescents and adults. Sessions run 55 to 60 minutes each and he works 1:1 with each client or parents to give them his undivided attention while using individually-tailored and concrete strategies.

Treating Autism

Treating Autism, a charity run entirely by parents, provides information and support to families and individuals affected by autism with the aim of improving their quality of life and reducing disabling symptoms of autism.

The Wascana Rehabilitation Centre provides comprehensive medical rehabilitation programs for adults and children, as well as specialized long-term care.
