SNOW Inclusive Learning and Education

SNOW is a branch of the Inclusive Design Research Centre at OCAD University that focuses on Inclusive Education and Learning. Our goal is to provide information and training about technologies and inclusive practices both in and outside the classroom. SNOW is for educators, parents, guardians and students and our resources are free whenever possible. SNOW is committed to providing open source tools that can be adapted and used freely.

TeamMason2021 Foundation

Currently the lack of housing throughout Alberta has created a significant crisis that is impacting the most vulnerable members of our communities. TeamMason2021 Foundation has been established to meet this growing need.

The Asante Centre

The Asante Centre is located in the downtown core of Maple Ridge, BC. Governed by the Greater Vancouver Fetal Alcohol Society, we offer diagnostic, assessment and family support services, based on a multidisciplinary team approach, for children, youth and adults affected by FASD.

Turning Tides

Support students of all ages and abilities with tutoring and social skills programs. Parents can learn more about learning disabilities and parenting strategies through their community workshops and conferences. Educators, psychologists and other professionals can also share in their knowledge through professional development workshops and customized training opportunities.

Vancouver Parents Transition Group

An education and support group for parents of youth with disabilities who are transitioning to adulthood. The group meets once per month and features guest speakers who provide information and support to families.

Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre

Westcoast supports the healthy development of children, families and their communities by providing child development and child care information, referrals, training and resources for parents, caregivers and others who provide services to children and families.

Westcoast Family Resources Society

A community-based Lower Mainland non-profit society offering programs to children and families experiencing difficulties, to children at risk and to individuals looking to improve their parenting skills. The Society delivers child-centered, family focused programs, respecting the dignity and integrity of all family members.
