Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society – North Vancouver

A not-for-profit organization formed in 2002 for the purpose of promoting mutually rewarding friendships between children with autism spectrum and related social-communicative disorders and their peers, classmates and siblings. Our goal is to help children develop to the best of their abilities through the play and socialization that results from these friendships.

Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre

KRRC serves approximately 190 clients. Most are mentally challenged adults with developmental, emotional, behavioral, psychological and/or psychiatric problems.

Leaps and Bounds

Provides both home and centre based IBI and ABA programming to both private and government funded clients. Provides specialized, psychologist supervised, intensive behavioural intervention, applied behaviour analysis and behaviour management services for children and youth across Southern Ontario.

Manitoba Association for Behaviour Analysis (MABA)

Our purpose and mission is to develop and disseminate knowledge about behaviour analysis as a science. MABA’s interests lie in basic science focusing on principles governing human and nonhuman behaviour (i.e., the experimental analysis of behavior) as well as applied science focusing on application of those principles for improvement of socially important problems (i.e., the applied behaviour analysis), and disseminating this information to stimulate interest in and correct misunderstandings of behaviour analysis.

PDA North America

PDA North America was established as a result of the March 2020 Chicago PDA workshop. At this first PDA event in America, there was overwhelming enthusiasm and support for an ongoing effort in the US and Canada by the parents and professionals who attended. Diane Gould hosted the workshop and she is the founder of PDA North America. The workshop presenters from the UK were Laura Kerbey and Harry Thompson who serve as advisors to PDA North America.

Pivot Point

Specializes in intensive therapeutic interventions for children with “extra needs” ranging from mild behavioural and emotional challenges to moderate or severe childhood disorders such as Learning Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, and other challenges that limit success at home or school.
