Eckert Centre for Learning and Wellness, Calgary

Eckert Centre for Learning & Wellness is a private clinic, dedicated to the well-being of adults, adolescents, children, and their families. Our multi-disciplinary team ensures that you will receive comprehensive yet personalized assessment and intervention services.

Education-A-Must

A non-profit corporation providing advocate services for the child or youth with physical, emotional, behavioral, or learning disabilities. Our goal is to assist parents and caregivers in finding help for the child with special needs. EAM works with local, state and federal agencies to secure the necessary services and education for all who qualify.

Elves Special Needs Society

A non-profit organization and registered charity which offers a preschool and school program for children with disabilities and a day program for adults with severe disabilities.

Empowered Kids Ontario

Empowered Kids Ontario (EKO) represents Ontario’s publicly-funded child development and rehabilitation sector. With the united voice of our members, we promote evidence-based investments, policies and programs enabling smart, innovative approaches and service delivery so kids with special needs and their families live their best lives.

Evergreen Home for Special Care

The facility, which is licensed to provide 24-hour nursing coverage, is comprised of a Childrens’ Unit for 20 children plus one respite bed and a Seniors’ Unit consisting of 97 residents plus one respite bed.

Families First Society, Fort Saskatchewan

Works in partnership with many community agencies to offer a variety of programs and services that promote positive parenting and early childhood development to families with young children ages 0-6 years. Offers parent education, programs for young children to learn and play, family support services, as well as information and referral to other programs/services in the community that may benefit families.

Families Matter Co-operative Inc.

A member-driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of people with developmental disabilities, their families and their friends.

Family Support Institute

A province-wide organization whose purpose is to support and strengthen families faced with the extraordinary circumstances that come with having a family member who has a disability.

FDMT

Manufactures therapy clothing and therapy equipment, imports and distributes many products which can be helpful for therapists, hospitals, schools, sport instructors, or anyone involved in physical, mental and intellectual development.

First Signs

Our organization aims to educate parents, healthcare providers, early childhood educators, and other professionals in order to ensure the best developmental outcome for every child. Our goals are to improve screening and referral practices and to lower the age at which young children are identified with autism and other developmental disorders.

Foothills SNAPS

A non-profit organization in the Foothills area who are dedicated to supporting families with children that have special needs. Provides information, education and support to parents and siblings of special needs children in a safe, non-judgemental enviroment.

Footholds Therapy Center

Offers a broad range of assessment and therapeutic services to all people with special needs irrespective of their developmental stage. Their unique programming offers behaviour intervention, social and life skills training, academic support, and other services to youth of all ages.

Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society – North Vancouver

A not-for-profit organization formed in 2002 for the purpose of promoting mutually rewarding friendships between children with autism spectrum and related social-communicative disorders and their peers, classmates and siblings. Our goal is to help children develop to the best of their abilities through the play and socialization that results from these friendships.
