The idea of this web site is to help anyone who needs some help or support with a child or adult with the condition Asperger Syndrome in the UK.

Association for Supported Community Connections (no website)

ASCC currently provides In-Home Respite, Out of Home Respite, Community Support, Life Skills Training, and Transitional Planning. ASCC also has a children/youth respite home called “Maitland House” that is located in Spruce Grove, Alberta. Maitland House provides 24 hour support for up to 30 days a year.

BC Association for Community Living

A provincial association dedicated to promoting the participation of people with developmental disabilities in all aspects community life. We also support activities dedicated to building inclusive communities that value the diverse abilities of all people.

Offers a holistic program of support that includes a complete academic program (K-12) through partnerships with distributed learning schools, behaviour intervention, life skills training, therapeutic recreation, and opportunities to develop social and emotional awareness.

Community Inclusions Ltd.

A nonprofit organization in West Prince that provides supports to adults aged (18-65) with intellectual disabilities. These supports range from residential, employment, supportive and recreational.

Community Living Ontario

The goal of this organization is that all persons live in a state of dignity, share in all elements of living in the community, and have the opportunity to participate effectively.

Cosmopolitan Learning Centre (Cosmo)

A non profit corporation that provides life skills training, opportunities for community and in house employment, volunteer experience in the community, as well as recreational and social activities for adults with intellectual and accompanying physical disabilities.

Enactus Calgary – Autism Works

In partnership with Ready, Willing & Able, Autism Works Entrepreneurship (otherwise known as “AWE”) is a program which aims to assist entrepreneurs with autism in starting their own businesses. Our volunteers will act as consultants and mentors by providing guidance on creating viable business plans and strategies for the entrepreneurs. The project is currently supporting 3 entrepreneurs and their various businesses.

Family Plus/Life Solutions

Has been serving the Saint John area since 1929. The Agency is a private, not-for-profit organization helping men, women, children and families manage the challenges of today’s living conditions

Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society – North Vancouver

A not-for-profit organization formed in 2002 for the purpose of promoting mutually rewarding friendships between children with autism spectrum and related social-communicative disorders and their peers, classmates and siblings. Our goal is to help children develop to the best of their abilities through the play and socialization that results from these friendships.
